An interpretation of traditional elements, this restaurant draws from Mughal grandeur and architectural language through carved arches, geometric screens, ornate columns, all executed in a contemporary palette keeping the space afresh. The space feels indulgent and immersive.
The ceiling becomes the centerpiece as an intricate composition of backlit geometric panels wash the space with an ambient and honeyed glow. Wooden ribs fan out from the columns like stylized palms. Multiple coloured glass lanterns in jewel tones and moroccan shapes hover at different heights. Seating tinted in forest hues, splits between deep brown leather banquettes and freestanding tables with dark upholstered chairs on sleek legs. Patterned tiles underfoot add to the eclectic energy prevalent throughout. Weathered plaster walls in ochre and decorative screens act like textural backdrops uplifting the design. Synonymous to it all, the bar continues this language too; brass accents, marble counters and backlit displays extend the existing dialogue between craft and contemporary design.
