The most defining characteristic is the extensive intricate treatment across all surfaces.

Walls feature detailed hand-painted fresco work in golden ochre tones with delicate floral motifs, stylized cypress trees, lotus blooms, scrolling vines all executed in natural pigments. Multi-fold cusped arches define every threshold and window, their borders carved and painted with geometric borders. Ornamental columns with elaborately carved capitals support arches throughout, creating rhythmic vertical elements.
