This immersive showroom celebrates the inherent beauty of wood through an experiential design approach that transforms material display into spatial art. Transcending conventional retail typology, the project orchestrates wood as both product and protagonist, creating an environment where craftsmanship becomes tangible. The design employs a contrast strategy, setting warm timber tones against matte black surfaces and exposed mechanical systems. Ceiling installations feature radiating wood planks in varied species and finishes, creating sculptural canopies that draw the gaze upward while demonstrating material versatility. These installations transition seamlessly from ceiling to wall to floor, blurring edges and showcasing wood’s dimensional possibilities. Floor surfaces themselves become a living catalogue, with multicoloured planks arranged in varying patterns including herringbone, chevron and linear compositions. Each zone showcases a different type of wood, stains and textures, allowing visitors to experience tactile and visual variations firsthand. Consultation areas feature marble-topped desks positioned against bespoke wood installations, including circular disc assemblies and geometric hexagonal arrangements.
